A long neck type and short neck type are available for use in variety application
Easy valve to flange centering :
The light weight of the die-cast aluminum valve body ( which is only one third of the weight of KITZ's conventional cast-iron butterfly valves ) eases valve -to-flange centering work on mouting valve on pipelines.
Wide range of service applications:
Austenitic stainless steel discs and EPDM rubber seats can handle many different types of line fluid without ridk of corrosion.

Stabilized operating torque :
A pair of stem bearing assemble around the top and bottom stems prevents stems galling and stabilized the valve operating torque for smooth and trouble free disc rotation.
On-the spot-actuator assembly :
The Actuator mounting pads of all necks are designed in conformity with ISO 5211 requirements for directs on site mounting of actuator that are provided with ISO 5211 valve mounting flange.
Prevention of dew condensation ( Long neck type)
A long stainless steal neck blocked transfer of fluid heat to the valve operation devise. Dew condensation is also minimized for gear operated valves used in cold water service.
Rust Prevention:
The main part such as stem, disc,neck,neck connector,end plats, and small part such as stopper plats, washer, and bolting are all made of stainless steal for high grad rust prevention.
S Shaped spherical disc for high sealing performance ( Patented )
KITZ's Original cross- sectionally S-shaped valve disc with spherical surface make evenly tight connect with rubber liner for excellent sealing performance with reduced operating torque.Complet 360' shut off mechanisms help to extend service life of rubber liner ( Size ≥ 2 inch)
Valve Selection
- Make Sure to select a valve with design specification that are appropriate for the fluid type and pressure and temperature condition expected.
- Lubrication are applied to discs and rubber seats to protect their surfaces. Oil free treated types are also available.Contact KITZ Corporation or its distributor for more details.

Storage and Handling
Valves must be stored in a clean , dry , corrosion free , environment with no direct exposure of sunlight. Valve should be left open 10° to prevent permanent distortion of the resilient seats. Refrain from overloading valves and their actuator by storing in piles or placing other object on them.
Mounting on Pipeline
- valve must be mounted on flanges only after flanges have been welded to pipes and cool down to the ambient temperature. Otherwise the welding heat may effect the quality of the resilient seats.
